Detour for Ice Cream
Traditional farmers ice cream of Labora certainly justifies a detour of a few kilometres. Particularly the strawberry giant: a giant ice cream cone with ice cream, fresh strawberry sauce and whipped cream. Delicious!
Take into account that you’re not the only one who fancies Labora ice cream on a sunny day, because the farm’s garden is guaranteed to be crowded. It’s usually also busy on less sunny days, as the traditional ice cream is famous on Texel and far beyond. The ice cream is made of fresh milk and cream from the farm’s own cows, which you can see from the loft in the stables. The climbing tower, large bouncing castle and a playground will keep the kids busy.

The Labora cows are milked automatically with a milking robot. The cows can decide to walk up to the machine themselves when their udders are full.
