Beest Boulders: Climb & scramble with a soft landing

Looking for a physical challenge that’s way more fun than the gym? Go climbing or bouldering at Beest Boulders in The Hague! We’re talking serious height here. Sore muscles guaranteed (but hey, you’ll feel gloriously exhausted and fitter than ever afterwards).

At Beest Boulders, you climb up to 4 metres high, without ropes, but with thick mats for a soft landing. Don’t have a climbing buddy? No worries! Bouldering is a great way to meet new people. Trust us: nothing breaks the ice like hanging upside down together.

Feeling brave or just want to test your fear of heights? Head to De Klimmuur, where you can scale walls up to 17 metres high. Beginners and seasoned climbers are equally welcome.

From chill bouldering to serious top routes: here, you literally climb to new heights (and safely back down again).

New to climbing? No stress. With an intro lesson, you’ll be scaling the wall like a pro in no time. Or just watch the pros fly up the wall like it’s nothing, it’s a show in itself. Hang out at the cosy bar afterwards to chat with fellow climbers. Still got energy to burn? The buzzing city centre of The Hague is just around the corner. Or walk back to our cosy hostel, literally just a few minutes away!

Nice to know

Beest and De Klimmuur attract everyone: locals, expats, backpackers and students. Whether you speak Dutch or not: you’ll feel at home right away. Perfect for meeting new people!
