Rapid river trips

We are already familiar with buses, boats and trains, but have you ever taken a trip on a Waterbus?

Hop aboard at Dordrecht’s Merwekade and voyage to Rotterdam or the Biesbosch National Park.

Take the number 23 Waterbus and sail directly to the Hollandse Biesbosch, where you can enjoy relaxing and playing in the outdoor recreation region.

The Waterbus was introduced as a rapid, traffic jam-busting waterway link between the Maas cities, taking less than an hour to get from Dordrecht to Rotterdam. As well as for commuting, you can also take the Waterbus for a day out in Rotterdam. The number 23 sails directly to the Biesbosch National Park, a vast outdoor recreation area where you can get back to nature. It’s idea for walking, picnicking, playing or swimming in the lake.

Hey, did you know?

Dordrecht lies at one of Europe’s busiest waterway junctions, where the Beneden-Merwede, de Noord and the Old Meuse River meet.
