King of the castle

If you’re looking for a child-friendly beach bar, look no further than Het Zuiderbad. It has a large wooden climbing castle with a slide and it’s very popular among small children: success guaranteed! While the kids are climbing and playing, you can sit and enjoy a drink on the terrace.

“In high season, guests can get changed in the bathing huts next to the terrace.”

Looking out from the Koningin Astrid Boulevard, you get fantastic views of the North Sea, but if you’re looking for more sheltered spot, check out Het Zuiderbad. This beach pavilion is situated in a dune valley and is surrounded by 40 bathing huts where guests can get changed in the high season. By the way, the doors of Het Zuiderbad are open in winter too so if you want to order a hot chocolate with whipped cream instead of glass of chilled rosé, this is the place to be.

Nice to know!

The beach that belongs to Noordwijk is no less than 13 km long. As well as being perfect for long walks, it is also the perfect place for surfing and other beach-related sports.
