Hawaii in Holland

Aloha! No, you’re not on Hawaii, you’re on the North Pier in Velsen-Noord, home of the Aloha beach pavilion. In summer, you can watch the sun sink behind the horizon or watch the beach fill up with kiterboarders and windsurfers when it’s windy, all from tropical surroundings.

“At Aloha, you’re in the Dutch coast but the interior means you almost believe you’re on a tropical island.”

When you look through the menu, you’re faced with a tough choice. Will it be the homemade ice tea or a glass of Brouwerij ‘t IJ white beer? No need to worry, whatever the time of day, whether you want breakfast, dinner or just a drink, there’ll be something on it to make your mouth water. If the weather’s bad, then you really do have to go to Aloha because the tropical interior makes you forget you’re on the Dutch coast. It’s also the perfect place to round off a surfing session.

Nice to know!

If you fancy doing something active, next to Aloha you have Outstanding Events, which organises year-round activities such as blo-karting, SUP, kite-flying and sand sculptures.
