Use your imagination and make your own itchy critter. In this workshop we are inspired by the animals of the Dordtse Biesbosch. With the 3D doodle pen and various craft materials you will make your own kinetic creature that looks and moves the way you want it to.

Brainstorming ideas for the hostel together
On this activity , you’ll be tackling issues relating to the hostel during your stay. Together with a supervisor, you’ll investigate how certain processes or facilities work and gather ideas for possible improvements. At the end of your stay, you’ll present your findings to the group. Fun and educational!

Building bamboo
Build the tallest, sturdiest and/or most beautiful structure with nothing more than bamboo and rubber bands. You will discover in the process how these and other technical structures are always constructed from simple basic geometric shapes. This activity involves a lot of collaboration, making it very suitable as a team-building assignment.

Building rockets
Build and launch your own bottle rocket! Using old plastic bottles and other materials, we’ll make rockets complete with pointed noses and aerodynamic wings. The rockets will then be launched outdoors. If you’d like, the workshop can be combined with a litter pick in the countryside around the Stayokay.
