When you think of Scheveningen, you’ll immediately think of De Pier. It’s the most famous attraction on the Dutch coast. A great place to hang out or grab a hip bite to eat with a view of the North Sea.
For years, De Pier was deteriorated, but since 2015 this has been one of the hippest locations by the sea. You can rush down by a zipline, get on the Ferris wheel and even sleep. The food boulevard full of fun food concepts is the main crowd pleaser. You can find café-restaurant Kust at the end of De Pier, the place for luxurious lounging with the best view of the boulevard, the imposing Kurhaus and the sunset. We recommend the rotisserie at the lower deck for a great bite to eat.
Nice to know
The interior of Kust consists of recycled materials from the old Scheveningse Pier. Think of wood from the dock, ornaments and old furniture.
