Once the surfing conditions are optimal, surfing Haarlem rushes to the coast. Waiting to be taken by a wave. One of the best spots to throw your board in the sea is at the border of Zandvoort and Bloemendaal aan Zee where you’ll find surfing school Surfana at beach bar Rapa Nui.
Whether you’ve got your own board, want to rent a wetsuit or would like to take a surfing lesson: Surfana is the place the be. This surfing school has been offering surfing lessons to adults and children for over ten years. To really get a hang of it, the three-lesson card is a good idea, but of course you can also just take the beginners class. Prefer paddle boarding? That’s also possible, as are power kiting and rafting. There’re even special activities and programmes for bachelor parties.
Good to know!
Each year in June, Surfana organises Surfana Festival in the beautiful dunes of National Park Zuid-Kennemerland. At this festival, you can take surf clinics and other surf-related workshops, dance beneath the stars, eat at fun food trucks and much more.
