The group accommodation in Groningen is situated right in the city centre, in the former National Archives building. Come and discover the best city in the North with your whole group!

From the hostel, it’s just a short walk to the Grote Markt, the Martini Tower and other must-see attractions in Groningen. This makes it ideal for a school camp, study trip, club outing or a weekend away with a large group. After a day of exploring the city, it’s time to settle down at the hostel. Enjoy a meal together, catch up and relax!

We have 1(pods), 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, 6-, 7- 8-person rooms and Pods. In all rooms you will find:

Forgot to pack your towel? No problem, you can rent a towel at the hostel. Want us to arrange your towel, shampoo and shower gel? We can do that too!

Hungry? Did you know that you can also sit down in our hostel for an extensive dinner buffet? In any case, your breakfast is included. Do you want to go out during the day? Then bring a packed lunch. Would you rather have lunch at the table? Book this in advance of your stay.

At Stayokay, we are committed to a greener and healthier world. That is why we cook with as many local ingredients as possible and offer our meals meat-free as much as possible. If you have any specific wishes regarding the meal(s), please let us know.

A SELECTION OF ACTIVITIES

  • Climb the Martini Tower! Tackle the nearly 300 steps for a breathtaking view. Want more than just the view? A guided tour is also available!
  • Get out on the water. Canoeing or stand-up paddleboarding through Groningen city – now that’s a unique way to explore the city! At Supperdupper, you can hire everything for water sports.
  • Soak up some culture at the Groninger Museum. Children up to the age of 18 get free entry to the largest museum of art and design in the northern Netherlands! Various educational programmes are available for primary, special and secondary schools!
  • Groningen University Museum. For anyone wanting a glimpse behind the scenes of science, a visit to the Groningen University Museum is well worth it.
