The Hague, lovely town behind the dunes. Visit the Binnenhof, the Peace Palace, the city’s numerous shops and sidewalk cafés, the palaces and museums or simply take in some fresh air on the beach in Scheveningen and wander through the dunes. Stayokay Den Haag will give a truly regal touch to your stay in The Hague! The hostel is housed in a beautifully restored building in the style of the Amsterdam School, located in the heart of the city at a five minutes’ walk from the Hollands Spoor railway station. In the hostel, modern-day comfort goes hand in hand with a historic atmosphere. The large rooms have their own bathroom facilities as well as up-to-date, comfortable interiors. At ‘Brasserie Backpackers’, you can wine and dine in the atmosphere of a grand café and chat with travellers from all over the world into the wee hours. And if the weather’s fine, nothing’s more enjoyable than relaxing on the hostel’s large waterfront terrace.

Travelling plan

Public transport: Just a five-minute walk from Hollands Spoor station. Walk towards Rijswijkseplein. Stayokay Den Haag is located behind the eye-catching pink high-rise flat building and is recognisable by the blue neon letters on the front. From Central Station take tram 1, 9, 12 or 16. Get off at the Station Hollands Spoor stop. It is also possible to take tram 17, get off at the Rijswijkseplein stop. Private transport: From Prins Clausplein (A4 and A12) follow the signs towards Den Haag Centrum (on the A12). Take exit 3 (Bezuidenhout/Mariahoeve). At the end of the exit at the first set of traffic lights take a left across the railway viaduct. At the end of the viaduct, at the traffic lights, take a left and then an immediate right. The first street on your right is the Scheepmakersstraat. Stayokay Den Haag does not have its own parking facilities. However, you are able to park your car in the street. On working days, from 9.00 till 17.00, one has to pay approximately € 1,10 per hour.
