CROOS is a place you can happily take the children to without worrying they’ll turn the place upside down because you can let them play and read in the CROOSt (kids) corner. You can have fun there too!
This child-friendly café, which also serves lunch, is in the Crooswijk district. It’s a district that’s on the rise, popular among young couples. The interior of CROOS is like a living room with school chairs, paintings on the wall and a children’s corner with play kitchen. You’ll feel right at home. While the kids are playing, you can order a coffee from Rotterdam’s Man Met Bril roasting house. It’s worth noting that they serve great breakfasts.
Nice to know!
With its cattle market, abattoir and Heineken brewery, Crooswijk was known as a true Rotterdam district. In the old part you’ll still hear the genuine Rotterdam dialect spoken in the pubs.
