The sound of creaking ice, a biting wind in your face, gliding across the ice. Skating: the preferred activity for an enjoyable day with kids, an active date or a terrific outing with friends. At Flevonice in Biddinghuizen you can skate in a natural setting from 2 December 2017 up to and including 4 March 2018, even if the temperature isn’t cold enough for the famous Eleven Cities Race! Flevonice is the longest artificial ice rink surrounded by nature. And, of course, the ice rink is for everyone! Skate a few rounds on the three-kilometre long rink or amble over to the stand for a cup of hot chocolate. And the kids? They are free to enjoy themselves in the Ice Funpark.

Do you want to increase the enjoyment factor even more? Make an enjoyable weekend of it by combining your skating adventure with an overnight stay at Stayokay Apeldoorn. That way you can also discover the beautiful Veluwe region!

The professional ice rink in Haarlem is perfect for both beginners and enthusiasts. You can practise your passing, play a game of ice hockey or improve your skills on the covered, inner ice floor. From pirouettes to cross-cuts in every corner: it’s all possible at Ice Rink Haarlem! Ice Rink Haarlem is open until 25 March 2018.

Plan a day of skating in combination with a visit to Stayokay Haarlem. Then you’ll have time the following day to explore the old town centre or go out for a nice dinner at one of the many cosy restaurants throughout the city.

In Rotterdam you can once again have fun skating, starting on 2 December 2017. Wipe the petroleum jelly off your blades, have your skates sharpened and dig your toque out of the storage bin! The rink is covered, so even if it’s typical Dutch winter weather, you’ll still be able to enjoy yourself at Schaatsbaan Rotterdam!
And did you know that you can find Stayokay in Rotterdam’s famous Cube houses? It’s the perfect location to visit the Markthal and view the Erasmus Bridge after your skating adventure!

In Sportiom you can participate in a variety of sporting activities like swimming, laser tag and, most importantly, skating! IceFun Sportiom is not your average indoor ice rink. Here you’ll skate through caves, over rises... and experience the occasional snow flurry! You might end up wondering whether you’ve arrived at the North Pole...
