Welcome!
On 15 june 2009, Stayokay opened a new hostel in the centre of Rotterdam in the striking Cube Houses. These peculiar homes built on pylons were designed by the Dutch architect Piet Blom in 1984. The houses are located close to the Oude Haven, a historic area of the city bristling with bars, restaurants and cafés. The hostel will be decorated simply and stylishly according to a design created by the Edward van Vliet/SEVV design agency. Every room will have its own washing facilities and the hostel will be fitted with state-of-the-art facilities. The hostel is particularly suitable for groups staying several nights, but also for meetings & workshops. Come enjoy the cosy atmosphere and the Stayokay employees’ warm hospitality!
Rotterdam
Rotterdam is a city full of world-famous modern architecture, museums, trendy restaurants and speciality shops. The sky feels different here, the tempo faster and skyscrapers tower above you. Almost everything this port town has to offer is just a stone’s throw away from the hostel, e.g. the Kunsthal, Museum Boymans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam Zoo and the Netherlands Architecture Institute. Cross the Erasmus Bridge and enjoy the view of Rotterdam’s amazing skyline. Rotterdam is a city that you can never get enough of!
