Welcome!

Enjoy nature, but do it in style. This is no problem at all at Stayokay Utrecht-Bunnik. The hostel is uniquely situated in a forest area on the banks of the Kromme Rijn, less than 5 km from the city of Utrecht. It offers a comfortable night’s rest in a splendid location, as well as tasty meals in the sunshine in the outdoor café. The hostel consists of three buildings: two dating from 1830 that preserve the historic atmosphere of the location and the main building ‘De Ridderhofstad’, which has three different restaurant halls and room for nearly 80 guests. The bar in the adjacent carriage house has a historic theme. Its doors open out onto a terrace café that offers a splendid view of the surrounding area. ‘In de Bongerd’, which stands separate from the other buildings, is particularly suitable for groups. This building, which has its own recreation room and outdoor seating facilities, can accommodate sixty guests. ‘Ridderhofstad Rhijnauwen’ is the perfect place for wedding functions and other festive events.

Travelling plan

Public transport: Stayokay Utrecht-Bunnik is a 3-km walk from Bunnik station. From Utrecht station you can take bus 40 or 41 in the direction of Wijk bij Duurstede and get off at the Rhijnauwen stop. The hostel is located 400 m from the stop. To plan the train trip we recommend to use www.ns.nl.

Private transport: Follow the A12 from Utrecht in the direction of Arnhem and take the Bunnik exit. Follow the secondary road through Bunnik towards Utrecht. Just after Bunnik take the Rhijnauwen exit. You will see the hostel after 400 m.

• Open: From the 1st of Marchuntil the 31st of October. Outside that period just in weekends, school holidays and on request. For groups over 20 persons the hostel is open all year.
